The Food of the Month!
The Mission and Outreach Committee has come up with a new approach to engage more of us in donating to the Marin Food Bank. Each month, we will suggest a featured item and we’ll collect the same item all month long. All you have to do is add that one item to your shopping list and bring it to church on Sunday. (You are welcome to make other donations as well, if you prefer.) Let’s see how we can do if we are all on the same page to support the Food of the Month, starting in February with canned fruit. We will give you weekly reminders in What’s Happening and the bulletin, but if you like to plan ahead, here’s what is coming up (Reminder that the Food Bank DOES NOT accept expired use or sell by date.).

May – peanut butter
June – canned vegetables
July – brown rice
August – whole grain pasta
September – peanut butter
October – canned or dried beans
November – canned pumpkin, yams & cranberries
December – bountiful giving
